Branch Warren To Defend Title
at 2012 Arnold Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Branch Warren will return to the competitive stage for the first time in nearly a year when he defends his title at the 24th Annual Arnold Classic at the 2012 Arnold Sports Festival.

Warren, who won the Arnold Classic and the British Grand Prix in March 2011, did not compete in the 2011 Olympia due to an injury. He will face three-time Arnold Classic champ and 2011 Arnold Classic Europe runner-up Dexter Jackson, 2011 Arnold Classic runner-up Dennis Wolf and 2011 fourth-place finisher Evan Centopani in an international field of 14 competitors.

In the Ms. International contest, six-time champion Iris Kyle will gun for her third straight victory in Columbus. She will be challenged by four-time Ms. I winner Yaxeni Oriquen and 2011 third-place finisher Alina Popa in a field of 15.

Four-time champ Adela Garcia will defend her Fitness International title against a field of 17 that includes 2011 runner-up and 2011 Arnold Fitness Europe winner Tanji Johnson and Camala Rodriguez, who finished fourth in Columbus last year.

Two-time defending champ Nicole Wilkins and 2011 runner-up Erin Stern will resume their rivalry at the 2012 Figure International. Ava Cowan, who finished third in 2011, Cheryl Brown (5th in 2011) and Teresa Anthony (6th in 2011) also highlight the field of 16.

Nicole Nagrani, winner of the inaugural Bikini International in 2011, is back to defend and will face a field of 18 that includes Sonia Gonzales and Nathalia Melo, who finish second and third, respectively, in 2011.

Matthias Botthof (Arnold Classic), Alevtina Goroshinkaya (Ms. International), Diana Monteiro (Fitness International), and Raquel Hernandez (Figure) earn automatic invites based on overall victories in their respective classes at the 2011 Arnold Amateur IFBB Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships. Gloria Keplinger Tarpley earned an invite into the Figure International based on her overall win at the 2010 Arnold Amateur.

The 24th Annual Arnold Classic, Ms. International, Fitness International, Figure International and Bikini International contests will be held March 2-3 at Veteran Memorial and the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio during the Arnold Sports Festival. aber wer weiß,auch wenn ich ihn nicht mag,was evan so bringt.wobei ich dieses einjährige pausieren ja nicht so gut heiße...

hm...was mit branch ist weiss keiner aber auf der mr. o ist er schon ins gym gehumpelt und hat trainiert.
also abschreiben ist ein fehler..denn totgesagte leben länger.
insgesamt fehlen die top 4 der mr. o plus ronny the rock,also nicht die stärkste asc.
mit branch,dennis und dexter sind die top leute der etablierten pros vertreten.
viel junge neue,darunter auch zukünftige top leute.

Wäre Hammer wenn Beyeke vor Jackson käme, reicht aber befürchte ich noch nicht. Die ersten 3 qualifizieren sich dieses Jahr für den Olympia, richtig?

Brandon Curry und Michael Kefalianos kommen weiter vor. Curry wird gehyped und Mike hat sichs ganz einfach verdient.

Branch Warren ist natürlich jetzt schwer einzuschätzen. Er hatte aber nach seinem letzten Trizepsabriss auch ein unglaublich gutes Comeback gefeiert. Aber Quadrizepsruptur ist noch eine Nummer härter....

Vom Gefühl her glaube ich das Beyeke einen guten Schritt nach vorne machen wird.

Evan Centopani hat wie in der Vergangenheit keine "Doppelsaison" (Frühjahr-Herbst) gemacht, und hat so in den letzten Jahren konstant aufbauen können. Ich denke, dass er wieder etwas verbessert antritt und auf jeden Fall Finalkandidat ist.

Dennis Wolf ist alles von 1-5 zuzutrauen.....

Jackson sah bei der Master-Pro in Miami auch sehr gut aus......

in 10-11 Wochen ist es ja schon wieder soweit !

Kefalianos sehe ich in diesem Feld eher hinten. Für Botthoff wird es auch nicht leicht, aber die AC ist mit Abstand der 2. stärkste BB-Wettkampf.

Natürlich sind das auch eine Art Wunsch Vorstellungen kombiniert mit meiner Meinung usw.. . genau so wie das ich Lionel Beyeke so hoch einschätze und das noch vor Dex.. wenn ich mir die Bilder von Dex auf der Masters anschaue und er das Ding was er dort gebracht hatte wieder in ähnlicher Form bringt wir werden sehen.. .. aber wie heißt es so schön „Wenn der Hund nicht ….“

Aber um es mal auf den Punkt zu bringen Lionel Beyeke sehe ich in naher Zukunft wenn er sich weiter so entwickelt wie bisher um die Krone in unserm Sport kämpfen.





Eduardo Correa.. ist auch ein Kandidat der eigentlich vorher bei der 202 KLasse angetreten ist.. aber wenn er jetzt schon die 212 in Visier hat wird er wohl die ASC nutzen/testen um mal zu sehen was geht wenn er schwerer antritt.. ist ein sehr kompakter und vor allem HARTER Athlet mit mehr Beinumpfang kann der auf sich aufmerksam machen


Und der NewStar Brandon Curry ist im kommen und laut Mr. O 2011 ein kommender TOP6 Kandidat für die O auch bei im fällt und steht alles mit seinem Beinumpfang.. wenn er da was zulegen kann... mein lieber Scholli


Und das es Evan Centopani kann .. wissen wir ja. Er hat schon mal Dennis Wolf geschlagen.. hatte jetzt ein wenig Pause um Masse zuzulegen.. ist eigentlich eine offene Nummer er scheint wie bei den letzten WK zusehen ein Athlet zu sein den die Kampfrichter immer irgendwie positiv eingestellt waren! Wenn er mehr Volumen in die Brust bekommt ohne die Schultern mitwachsen zu lassen .. bin gespannt!


Nun gut.. was soll ich zu Branch Warren schon sagen/schreiben.. er ist der Titelverteidiger somit muss er geschlagen werden.. #popcorn
Kein schöner Athlet ein Brocken das steht fest.. ein Typ wie Cutler Kastenartik in der Erscheinung sehr vaskulär wirkt aber nur wenn er trocken kommt. Ich finde das er bei seinem letztem ASC Sieg nicht so trocken war wie gewohnt und eigentlich hinter Wolf hätte sein müssen.. aber das hatten wir schon! Bin gespannt was seine Verletzung macht sprich ob es erkennbar somit Abzüge in Sachen Symmetrie kommt..


Auch Fouad Abiad ist so ein Kandidat der schon vor Wolf war)glaube ich jetzt mal ) .. #popcorn hat etwas zu kurze Beine und wirkt dann in manchen Posen etwas .. wie soll ich sagen .. ist Untersetzt das richtige Wort??.. Egal.. Ihn kann Ihn schlecht einschätzen weil er eigendlich nicht ausgewogen wirkt aber auch keine so extremen schwächen hat! naja. ich finde keine Worte um Ihn so Richtig zu beurteilen


Kommen wir zu unserem Matthias Botthof Leute ich habe ihn auf den 10 Platz gesetzt weil ich hoffe das er in die TOP10 kommt.. kann IHN überhaupt nicht einschätzen weil man ihn nie neben einen der jetzigen Profis auf der Bühne gesehen hat um da was sagen zu können.. natürlich wird Matze HART und den einen oder anderen mit seiner Breite im direkten Vergleich alt aussehen lassen
Natürlich wird er mit den Oberschenkel keinen von der Bühne jagen.. also warten wir ab wir er neben den Zwergen ausschaut weil jetzt wird mal einer größer wie Wolf auf der Bühne da stehen


Gut.. aus Zeitgründen werde ich jetzt mal meine kleine Vorschau beenden aber nicht bevor ich noch ein Athlet in die Runde geworfen haben "Dennis -the Big Bad- Wolf"
Diese zwei Bilder sagen schon alles.. kommt er in Form muss sich Branch an ihm messen!!!

Dennis seine Schwächen sind bekannt.. Waden .. und basta ! Ich kann damit leben die Kamprichter auch?? Er bringt dafür was anderes mit das die anderen nicht haben werden #popcorn "Den German X MAN Look" ich werde dieses Jahr wieder sein Posinglied stellen und werde auf den German X Man Look hinweisen und wenn es Dennis gefällt übernimmt er es in dem Lied oder auch nicht.
