WPC President Mike Sweeney announces that the WPO Finals have been cancelled. The Finals were scheduled for February 17 at the Fit Expo in Los Angeles. Sweeney calls the decision to cancel "very regrettable and every effort was taken and made to bring the “numbers/metrics” together for a successful meet and experience for the lifter". He says that the event will be rescheduled to coincide with the WPC World Championships.
