Hi Serge,
your training is very similar to mine training.
Do you train 3 or 4 hours in a row without a longer break or do you split up your training (morning/evening)?
Thanks

I rest at least 1 hour after each muscle group.

I train one muscle for exemple for one hour and rest one hour before to start the other muscle. But don't forget that I had my own gym. So plenty time.

Hi Serge!
I recently (3 weeks from now) enlarged the volume during my trainings and I made something like a Mix between Volume Training and Heavy Duty, Doing more Sets, training more often, but using strict form in average cadence (2/2/4)... Somehow my size skyrocked, I added 2 cm on my Arms and 3 cm on my Chest, and my weighing machine showed 1,5 kg increase ....
now my question is, is that only because of more blood in the muscles, because of training more often? or is this real progress in muscle mass?
I somehow haven't added any size while training Heavy Duty style, I just gained strenght, but no size....
thx

You just put your finger on it. I never try heavy duty training to tell you to much about it, but in my imagination, I could not undestand how some one could have a lot of mass with this kind of training. I beleive that you need congestion to increase you muscle mass, it is the pump reach brink the blood into the muscle, not the quantity of weight lelft. So I think that a comine of my training with some more poundage "of course a minimum of pounds has to be a partner too" and the resting time, for not loose the pump, with all that you must succed. Victor RICHARD was training in this way.

So Serge,
you must find a weight that will give the biggest and best pump and keep it up for as long as possible, correct? Because too little weight will not bring a super pump and neither will too heavy weight. With little pause, to keep the pump up.
So one has to find out which weight will give optimal pump with 10-12 reps and keep it up for as long as possible with as many sets as possible.
Is this so?

You got it right, that is exactly the key of success.

Ganz einfach.
