hier eine Athletenbeschreibung von Allan Donnelly Team Flex
1 - Darrem Charles - Darrem was on today, the best-conditioned guy in the show and that is what is likely going to give him the win here. Crazy arms, triceps were absolutely shredded.
2. Johnnie Jackson - Johnnie was a little off, so I can't see him repeating as champ in this show, which he won last year, finishing ahead of Darrem. Full, thick upper body, especially his chest. JOJ was a bit smooth though and could have come in crisper.
3. Chris Cormier - Chris's return to competition. Chris has the best lines and structure in the show, but is not there yet, not completely back to where he can be after his injury last year. Could have been fuller today and that might have been enough to put him ahead of JOJ, but he wasnt, even though he did improve as the prejudging went on.
4. Quincy Taylor - MUCH sharper than he was at the Europa but still not as sharp as he was at the 2006 Europa and even last year's Montreal Pro, when he finished third. Still some structural issues that hurt him, so I just can't see him ahead of Cormier.
5. Troy Alves - could even drop to sixth here behind Fred Sauvage, but I don't think that will happen. I saw Troy outside the hotel on our way to the prejudging, and he was very confident, told me he thought he looks as good if not better than he did at the Ironman in 2005. I didn't see it today, as I thought Troy was a little off, carrying too much water. His back looked bigger, but lacked the conditioning and total package neccessary to gain an Olympia qualification.
6. Fred Sauvage - close in conditioning to Darrem, MAYBE even a tad better, but just doesn't have the overall package to be any higher than 5th here. Probably looks as good as he is going to look at this show, so good for him.
